For a birthday of course!

At the 19th High1 Seoul Music Awards on February 3rd, Super Juniorhad a party of their own, catching the attention of the cameras and netizens. But, why were they celebrating?

It was the group’s mangnae (youngest member) Kyuhyun’s birthday! The singer turned 22 yesterday, and the group decided that the best time to celebrate would be at a music awards show. The Super Junior members threw the surprise party in the middle of the show. I sure wish I could have a party around all those pop stars, too.

Kyuhyun has already had a fairly successful year as a solo artist, releasing “Listen to You” (듣죠… 그대를), a single on the soundtrack of MBC drama “Pasta.”

Super Junior received 3 awards that night: The Bonsang Award, the Popularity Award, and the Hallyu Award.

Members Kibum, Kangin, and Hankyung were all absent from the award ceremony and birthday party.
