Not in a circle for “Mister” this time.

On October 21st, KARA stopped by on MBC’s “Music Travel LaLaLa” alongside rock band No Brain. Brown Eyed Girls were also featured in the program. The girls of KARA showed that they can do more than just flash a cute smile and shake their butts.

To start things off, Seung-yeon, Nicole, Gyu-ri, and No Brain performed a rock rendition of Nami’s “Round and Round“, which a popular trot song from the 1980s. The energy from this performance is very upbeat and fun. The sweet voices of the three girls blend very well with the hardcore vocals of No Brain’s vocalist Lee Seong-woo.

As a self-professed fangirl of G.O.D, it’s a special time for Seung-yeon. All members of KARA perform G.O.D’s “Path“, one of my personal favorites from G.O.D. Not quite as strong as the original, but KARA give an equally charming performance. Gyu-ri may look like a vain little princess, but the little princess can sing and she definitely shows it off here. Nicole gets the high note, and she pulls it off well. Step down from your rapper position, honey, you obviously do this better.
