She was burnt?
4minute member Ji-yoon exposed her face by ditching her trademark sunglasses and now she’s revealing a bit more, including the origin of that mysterious scar on her arm.
Well, it seems that the scar is the result of a burn that occurred during the time the group shot the album jacket for their debut mini-ablum “For Muzik“. During filming Ji-yoon stood a bit too close to the hot lights on set and was burnt as a result. Unaware of her injury, the singer continued filming until a stylist doscovered the burn. Ji-yoon was quickly sent to the hospital for treatment and returned for shooting the same day. As a result of the treatment, the singer was left with a permanent scar.
Apparently Ji-yoon had no idea that she was injured, which I can’t quite understand since last time I checked burns…oh, I don’t know…hurt! Who knows, maybe she just has a high pain tolerance, it happens. Talk about suffering for your art!
