Didn’t they say they were going to continue just a few days ago?
September 13th marked the last day of 2PM’s Taec-yeon and Woo-young as MCs for SBS Inkigayo. Originally, the producers of the music program wanted the two 2PM members to stay on as MCs, despite all the turmoil over Jae-bum’s decision to leave 2PM. Woo-young and Taec-yeon, however, have decided to leave their position as MCs for the show, possibly as a means of coping with the overwhelming media spotlight on the group as a whole for JYPE.
Despite feeling the loss of losing two good MCs, one of the producers of Inkigayo wished them the best of luck with their careers, hoping to see them do more MC work wherever in the future. He also praised them for their general level of professionalism because during the broadcast, the two male MCs did not show any indication of it being their hurrah on the show and carried themselves as they normally would.
Honestly, this whole Jae-bum media debacle must be straight up exhausting for all of the 2PM members. Don’t be sad folks if we don’t see them constantly, that just means they’ll be getting some much deserved rest and their spirits back up.
