Viewers have mixed reviews of Micky’s acting debut
Reviews regarding TVXQ member Micky Yoochun’s acting debut, has been much divided after the first airing of KBS 2TV’s Sungkyunkwan Scandal. Micky plays the role of the sole son of a literary household, one with perfect education, wealth, and looks.
Maybe it’s because of such character limits but his facial expressions were viewed as rather stiff. Various internet portal sites such as DC Inside left comments such as, “The way he talked was a bit awkward,” and “Only the tone of his voice changed. There were no changes in his face expressions.”
On the contrary, many have also commented that his acting ‘exceeded expectations.’
Other viewers left comments saying, “It was good. He looked calm and comfortable, you couldn’t tell that he was a singer,” and “His acting is better than I thought. That’s what I was thinking while I was watching him.”
On the other hand, fellow castmate Park Minyoung has been receiving praise for her outstanding expression of her character’s beastly charisma, since she plays the role of a female dressed as a male.
