Yoo Ah-in joins “Sungkyunkwan Scandal”
Yoo Ah-in, actor most well-known for roles in the drama “The Man Who Can’t Get Married’ and the movie “Antique Bakery”, has been confirmed to play Moon Jae-shin, a rebellious bad boy character in“Sungkyunkwan Scandal”. With this, the Joseon-era F4 has been completed along with Micky Yoo-chun, Song Joong-ki, and Jung Da-young, who will play a female character who dresses as a male in place of her younger brother.
Based on the character descriptions, Yoo Ah-in’s character seems awfully similar to Shin-woo from 2009 SBS drama, “You’re Beautiful”, in that it is said that he finds out the female lead, Yoon-hee, is a girl and still protects her. It can be assumed he will play the daddy long-legs kind of character who watches out for her and has her back at all times. Is this hinting at a possible love triangle between Micky Yoo-chun’s character of Lee Sun-joon, Yoo Ah-in’s character of Moon Jae-shin, and Jung Da-young’s character of Yoon-hee? Only time will tell.
“Sungkyunkwan Scandal” will air September of this year.
