New idol group, F.cuz (pronounced “focus”) released their first music video for their début single “JIGGY.”
Though we had high hopes for something refreshing, we get “JIGGY,” but it isn’t a bad song. It’s quite catchy. Unfortunately, “JIGGY” is still pretty run-of-the-mill.
The thing that stands out most is the professionalism the four boys display, despite the fact that they are brand new to the Kpop scene.CAN&J’s Entertainment seems to have well-prepared these young boys for their début.
This music video is polished and clean and lets us see all the members clearly. We can also clearly see the poor choice of fashion. Is that a white fur vest with neon kneepads? And, matching elbow pads and wrist guards, too!
Anyway, for those of you who still don’t know F.cuz, here are members names, positions, and ages by the color of their kneepads. (If the kneepad thing is confusing, it is also the color of the room of their solo shots in the music video.)
Dark green – Jinon (leader, rapper, 20)
Pink – LeeU (vocals, 19) – also known for being an internet ulzzang (best face)
Blue – Kan (main dancer, vocals, rapping, 18)
Yellow – Yejun (lead vocalist, 17) – F.cuz’s mangnae (youngest member)
If anything, I’m curious to see their stage performance, again expecting the best. F.cuz will have their first music show broadcast tonight (January 8, 2010) on KBS “Music Bank.” They will also perform on MBC “Music Core” on January 9th, and SBS “Inkigayo” on January 10th. Also, look forward to seeing these pretty rookies on variety programs.
What do you think? Does the song and the music video make you feel like getting “jiggy”?
