No, it’s not a spelling mistake-Check out the poster (see above).
Despite the misspelling, the new movie “Jeon Woo-chi” (전우치 2009), Kang Dong-won plays a wizard (Jeon Woo-chi) from the Chosun Dynasty in 1509 who was made a scapegoat and eventually sealed inside an ancient scroll. Centuries later in 2009, goblins started to appear and create mayhem in Korea therefore the wizards have to ‘un-retire’ and save the world. Three Taoist wizards decided to released Jeon Woo-chi from the scroll in order to use his help.
Unfortunately, having been trapped for so long, Jeon is more interested in exploring modern Korea and flirting with women. Will he help save the day? Well, you’ll find out when the film is released on December 23rd.
The movie also stars, Lim Soo-jung, and Kim Yun-seok. Sounds interesting to us!
The cast were present for the press conference held at Gangnam CGV Apgujeong,Seoul on November 16th. The usually dapper Kang Dong-won came in a ‘unique’ ensemble but we rather he wore a simple suit instead. Lim Soo-jong chose a beige outfit. We love the draping on the bottom half of her dress. But socks with high heels? Check out the pictures below.
