During a hand-shake fan meeting in Japan, Gyuri told the story of how she became a victim of street casting. “I was with Jiyoung eating crepes on the streets when I was scouted. Then a reporter came and asked for a picture and I was telling him how I wasn’t so good in speaking Japanese and that’s when the scouter ran away.” The story had netizens and reporters all laughing.
