KARA: Best F-ing Five … What?!

On Kara‘s online shopping mall, “It’s Kara” (karaya.co.kr), shoppers were taken off-guard by the cursing T-shirts that say “BEST F***IN FIVE” in English. Netizens are asking, “Who told you to put that on?”

In the photo, Gu Hara and Kang Ji-young are shown posing as cute as can be in the questionable t-shirt.

Although there are many t-shirts in Korea floating around with inappropriate English, some netizens believe that it is not fit for an idol star to wear clothing promoting the use of four-letter words. Some even took stabs at the idols saying, “They’re just smiling without knowing what they’re wearing.”

On the other hand, others are saying, “If you like it, I don’t see what’s wrong with wearing it,” and “It’s not like they’re performing in it; they’re just modeling the clothes.”

Representatives from the online shopping mall stated, “People are attaching too much meaning to the photo. We didn’t expect there would be so much criticism over the swear word.”
