Infinity Challenge members to audition for SM Entertainment

Infinity Challenge members auditioning for SM Entertainment? Well, the creative team behind the popularvariety show recently revealed their new challenge which was to challenge themselves to become an idol group.

They even made a demo tape which they sent to various entertainment companies. So do you think they have a chance at being an idol group?

PD Kim Tae Ho revealed that the idea of auditioning for SM came up on the program in the past. However, due to the fact that the SM building was under construction then, they were unable to complete the challenge.

They are taking this opportunity to try again.

The production crew stated, “Last March, they auditioned at SM. But, since we couldn’t solely rely on SM Entertainment (who represents SNSD, f(x), SHINee, Super Junior, BoA, Kangta, and more), we created a demo tape and delivered it to various entertainment companies. Depending on the results, there is even a possibility that they may be going through the life of a trainee should they get picked.

Originally, the recording was to take place in March, and depending on the results, they even had the target of an album release in the Summer.

However, due to the strike and other events earlier this year, everything has been postponed so we are unsure of when an album may be recorded. The production crew said, “Future developments have not been decided yet.”

At the auditions, they went through the same procedure as any normal aspiring idol artist. They were judged on their dancing, singing, and acting.

A representative confidently stated, “All the members enjoy singing and dancing. It is going to be a very entertaining broadcast.”

It’ll be interesting to see what the Infinity Challenge members come up with for their auditions. This special idol episode is expected to air at the beginning of August.
