Why did Jo Kwon and Sun-ye break out in tears?

Jo Kwon of 2AM and his close friend, Sun-ye from the Wondergirls broke out in tears upon seeing each other at the set of SBS “Family Outing 2” where Sun-ye was invited as a guest on the show. With 2AM focusing on the pop scene and Wondergirls working in the United States, the two best friends have not seen each other in a long time. So, their meeting was heartfelt and special.

On May 18, 2010, Jo Kwon uploaded a picture he took with Sun-ye on his twitter stating:

A friend I haven’t met in a long time. Even without talking, we know that we both are going through hard times. We couldn’t help but cry. But these tears are not just symbolic of the time we have endured. They are hope and memories.

With this, Jo Kwon showcased his special friendship with Sun-ye, who he has known since his JYP trainee days. Sun-ye and the Wondergirls will also jump back into the Kpop scene, performing their new single “2 Different Tears” on “Mnet Countdown” on May 20, 2010.
