Shin Min-ah takes the lead in new drama

Shin Min-ah is coming back to television for the first time in three years. She has been cast as the female lead for SBS drama “My Girlfriend is a Nine-tailed Fox”.

Her management company, AM Entertainment, revealed that Shin Min-ah has been searching for her next role in either movies or dramas and is excited to be making a comeback to the television screen through a drama. The company also expressed that the decision to take on the role had a lot to do with their faith in the writers of the drama, the Hongsisters (Hong Jung-eun and Hong Mi-ran). For those of you who don’t know, the Hong sisters are the authors of many hit dramas including “My Girl” and “You’re Beautiful”. The management company continued by saying that they liked the tight storyline and the character, as well as the fact that Lee Seung-gi was playing the opposite role. The producers of “My Girlfriend is a Nine-tailed Fox” are 100% satisfied with Shin Min-ah’s casting.

“My Girlfriend is a Nine-tailed Fox” is a drama about a nine-tailed fox who is released after 500 years of captivity and falls in love with a human. Shin Min-ah will play the role of the nine-tailed fox while Lee Seung-gi will play the human whom she falls in love with.
