[MV] 4minute ready to “Hit Your Heart”

Do their new personas strike a chord with you?

4minute have just released their MV for “HuH (Hit Your Heart)”, showcasing the girls’ transformations as little street divas. Hyun-ah looks right at home with this image, as it is not much different from what she had been doing with her solo effort in “Change“. Finally losing her backpack, So-hyun has broken away from her annoying maknae cuteness to embrace a more “in your face” precociousness; and if you didn’t already notice, leader Ji-hyun is a mighty fine looking girl and that gown really shows off her beauty.

Parts of the choreography are pretty good, but a lot of the appeal relies on overemphasizing their S-lines in their moves, which can get a tired very quickly if there isn’t really else much there. Judging on the demonstration in the MV, the girls could put in a lot more “oomph” in the chorus sections, hopefully their moves are more polished when 4minute makes their stage comeback on May 19th.

Nonetheless, 4minute is back with a bang, will they become the new hot issue or just some more idol noise in the background?
