Lee Hyori responds to “H-logic” critics

Lee Hyo-ri revealed that she is faced with a tremendous amount of pressure before every comeback regarding her fashion concepts on the episode of KBS “Yunyega Entertainment Relay” on May 15, 2010.

During her “guerilla date” portion of the show, she revealed her true feelings on being compared to Lady Gaga. She stated that many people have pointed out her blonde hair and connected it to Lady Gaga. Lee Hyo-ri continued by saying that she also is a fan of Lady Gaga, but accusing her of being too much like Lady Gaga just because of the color of her hair is too much. After all, she did try the blonde hair look during her F.I.N.KLdays.

Lee Hyo-ri also responded to the theme of orginality and discovery saying that top stars in this decade cannot help but promote popular fashions. She stated that she cannot just ignore the trend and divert to other things just for that reason and added that this is probably why it is hard to escape rumors of singers copying styles from other stars. She went on to say that with people telling her that she is similar to Beyonce when she puts her hair down and copying Lady Gaga with the blonde hair, she sometimes thinks of shaving off her hair and coming out dressed in han-bok.

The interviewer comically reponded by saying that she would be copyingGil (from Leessang) with his shaved head look. Although Lee Hyo-ri can probably pull off the shaved hair and han-bok, let’s hope she sticks to the trends of today. Can you imagine her performing “Chitty Chitty Bang Bang” bald?
