FT Island released a Japanese single titled “Flower Rock” on the 19th which has reached 3rd place in the Oricon Daily Chart. In addition the single has placed second following ARASHI on the Tower Record National Chart.

To celebrate the release of their album and to thank the fans, FT Islandorganized a surprise sign meeting at Tower Records. Tickets were sold out within an hour.

The home grown boy group will also hold free live events at Osaka and Tokyo.

FT Island has reached top 10 on Oricon Daily with their previous album under an indie record label. After signing with a new record label, Warner Music Japan, its new album has climbed even higher on the Oricon Daily Chart. This is huge for a Korean artist(s) like FT Island. After promoting their album in Japan, FT Island will make a comeback to the Korean pop scene around mid-August.

Below is the MV for FT Island’s Japanese single, “Flower Rock”. It is a pretty positive and happy song, more upbeat than most of FT Island’s songs. What do you think? [ youtube = http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cTUSvqGmmp0 ]
