Indie scene hits “Sweet Home Chicago”

The Asian Indie scene has landed in the Chicago, Illinois area. Are you guys ready to hear good music AND help a good cause?

Declare INDIE has come back once again to support the talented Asian Americans in the area to help spotlight musicians the mainstream has chosen to ignore. Teamed up with Asians for Miracle Marrow Matches and Team Connor to help victims like Connor, a young Korean American boy, who need Bone Marrow matches, DI hopes to introduce new musicians and inspire Asians to do more in their communities.

With acts such as Parts Per Million and Dawen and host Lily Kim, a well known Korean American journalist/media personality, the night is guaranteed to be a fun showcase that helps further the legacy ofKollaboration Chicago winners and participants.

Check out the video by Dawen who created a cover of the Black Eyed Peas‘ “Imma Be” for this event.
