Hwang Jung-eum and Kim Yong-jun: Splitzville?

As of late, there have been numerous rumors that popular, real-life dating “We Got Married” season 2 couple, Hwang Jung-eum and Kim Yong-jun, already broke up. No big deal, but netizens have been on the wave that the cute S.G Wannabe member and the former Sugar drop-out are just pretending to be a couple.

The rumor is fueled by other rumors that Hwang Jung-eum is dating “High Kick Through the Roof” co-star Daniel Choi. Besides that, the couple just doesn’t seem as close as they did on “We Got Married.”

Rumor-mongers say that the couple are pretending to still be dating in order to keep up the images that they created on “We Got Married,” which gave both of them a fair amount of popularity, especially Hwang Jung-eum, who went on to become the CF queen of the season.

In order to fight off the rumor, the couple are earnestly trying to prove their relationship by posting up selca shots (like the one above) on their Cyworld mini-hompages and telling stories about each other on variety programs. Hwang Jung-eum even went so far as to call Kim Yong-jun during an interview while filming for one of her latest commercials, but it seems to be just fuel to the fire. Netizens are saying the two are going overboard trying to prove their relationship, saying it’s all just a cover-up. Oh, netizens and your conspiracy theories, but it does seem like a bit much…

Kim Yong-jun and Hwang Jung-eum have been dating for over three years, but it’s hard to say what some popularity can do to a couple. Or maybe the “We Got Married” experience taught them something.
