…with a dance music video.
Girls’ Generation is recapturing the hearts of oppas everywhere with their new single, “OH!“. Recently released on SM Entertainment’s youtube channel is a video of the girls showing off the choreography without all the camera effects seen in your regular broadcast performance.
I was expecting to be wowed by an unedited view of their dancing. What I get, however, is a fuzzy video of messy formations and barely synchronized sequences. I don’t know when they recorded this, but I can see why there are so many cuts during lives. Watching the choreography in a wide perspective doesn’t add to your appreciation, it detracts. The group segmentations and clusterings cater to close-ups and don’t look that nice in a panoramic view.
Come on SM, SNSD rake in the dough, use a nicer camcorder for the love of the fans.
