Thailand Hallyu fans chose Hyun Bin as “the actor I like the most” in an online poll on one of Thailand’s top Hallyu website Pantip.com.

Hyun Bin received the first spot over other actors Jang Geun-seok, Lee Jun-ki, Rain, and So Ji-sub.

Most cherished from his role in the 2005 MBC drama “My Name is Kim Sam Soon,” Hyun Bin is also getting attention in Japan. From early in this year, “My Name is Kim Sam Soon” and “Friend, Our Legend” have been airing on FujiTV, and already “My Name is Kim Sam Soon” has passed a 5% viewership rating, which is not bad for a foreign program. FujiTV stated that Hyun Bin will reignite the Hallyu Wave in Japan.

Currently, Hyun Bin is filming for the movie “Late Autumn” (manchu, 만추), with Chinese actress Tang Wei.
