On yesterday’s broadcast of KBS variety show “Win Win,” assistant MCWooyoung shared that his father was strongly against him being a singer. What exactly did the 2PM goofball do?

He wrote a letter 3 times a month for a period of 2 years in order to get his father’s approval. That’s 72 letters!

He obviously succeeded, and now we are graced with his bizarreness that we have come to adore (accept).

Wooyoung also explained that it was his mother gave him positive support of his dream to become a singer, but his father was strongly opposed to the idea. Even knowing his father’s feelings, the 2PM member continued to go to practice without his father’s knowledge. After studying and in the early hours of the morning, Wooyoung would practice dancing and singing in order to avoid his father learning of his “hobby” and future career.
