On the January 8th “Music Bank” broadcast, usually bubbly Younhasuddenly apologized at the end of her performance of the ballad “I Broke Up Today,” for lip syncing.

Younha caught pneumonia earlier this month, and she had to cancel some performances. Still looking a little weary from sickness, Younha had to lip sync the vocally exhausting “I Broke Up Today” on yesterday’s “Music Bank.”

During rehearsals, Younha lost her voice, causing stress and tears to the singer. She still performed regardless, stating, “If I faint, I’ll faint on the stage.”

Surprising the audience, Younha apologized, mouthing the words “I’m sorry,” and bowing at the end of stage. Though Younha has lip synced other songs before, fans were especially touched that Younha came on stage, considering she is still suffering from symptoms of laryngitis though the pneumonia has left her body. Her apology may also extend to the cancellations she made when she had the pnuemonia.
