Infinity_091207

In a country where you can easily get a new year’s calendar for free (go to any bank, school or random company), the hit variety show, “Infinity Challenge” is actually getting people to dig deep into their pockets to cough up some won for their 2010 calendar (3900won to 15,000 won). Already, in the past 3 days, 30 thousand copies were sold. Revenues are expected to hit over 1.5 billion won (about 1.2 million USD).

Not bad at all.

All proceeds from the calendar will be donated to help children in Africa and other charities.

FYI, you can purchase the calendar the MBC shop. (Note that you will require Korean reading skills as well as a Korean Residence ID number)
