Another music awards show?

This time around, interest in the Melon Music Awards was high since SM acts did not attend the Mnet Asian Music Awards. Perhaps the MMA should be called SM Entertainment Music Awards since SM artists scooped up most of the awards. Girls Generation picked up 6 awards that night including “song of the year,” and Dong-bang-shin-ki pocketed 2 awards. Other pop acts also had a big year this year too (i.e. Kara, Brown-eyed Girls). What happened to them?

The 2009 Melon Music Awards was held Seoul Olympic Hall on December 16^th.
