New boy group has dropped the “2” for “ea” in their name. Just in case, you don’t know what that spells, the new name is “BEAST.”

The management company, Cube Entertainment, has decided to change the name since the boys were introduced on the MTV B2ST show before their debut. But now, the company believes that “BEAST” will be better for their career.

We think not. If anything, searching for the generic “Beast” will be next to impossible. And combined with the term, “Bad Girl,” countless less than friendly sites will pop up instead. Good luck.

BEAST has just released their 5 song mini-album and title single, “Bad Girl,” produced by 4Minute producer, Lee Sang-ho.

BEAST will perform a showcase at MTV on October 15^th at 6pm.
