It looks like Yun-ho wasn’t enough to keep the drama going.

It has been reported that the 20 episode drama, Heading to the Ground, will be ending earlier than planned, at episode 18. The reason behind the early cut-off, is due to the rather low viewer ratings. According to TNS Media Korea, ratings for “Heading to the Ground” have dropped to a low 3.3% percent, while ratings for rival dramas You’re Very Handsome are coming in at 8.9% and Iris at 25.3%.

“Heading to the Ground” viewers have begun expressing their disappointment that MBC has decided to end the drama early, stating that Yun-ho’s acting has greatly improved and the drama is just starting to get a lot better. Unfortunately, it looks like viewers have expressed their interest in the drama a bit too late.

Does anyone feel that lately, MBC has been a little harsh with cutting off shows with low ratings?
