FINALLY!

SM Entertainment’s hidden gem is finally back with her second single. If you didn’t know, Zhang Li-yin (Jang Ri-in) is an R&B singer of Chinese ancestry, who rose to stardom under Lee Soo-man’s guidance. She initially garnered fame with a duet of “Timeless” with DBSK’s Xiah Jun-su in 2006. She released her first full length album in early 2008 titled “I Will“, and has been focusing her career in the Chinese market.

Her new single will be released at the end of October, and I couldn’t be more excited because that girl has a voice. Her voice isn’t flawless and she strains it sometimes, but it has this raw gravitas that is overwhelming. Let’s see how much her voice has matured when her single comes out. It’s a Chinese single, but I’m glad she’s back in the recording studio for some fresh material.
