It’s time for some new kids on the block.
With the problems going on with TVXQ and 2PM, as well SHINee and Big Bang and all the other boy bands taking a break, it seems like the perfect time to drop a new quintet of boys called Shu-I otherwise known as “So Hot Union of Idols“. I cannot help but chuckle at that.
With the goal of debuting not only in Korea but also all over Asia one day, these boys have been training for two years as a group to the drop their single “Bomb Bomb Bomb” on September 11th. It seems that this training included giving each boy a specific trait they will be known for such as Pretty Boy (Hyung-jun), Main Vocal (Min-ho), Dancer (Jin-suk), Charisma (Chang-hyun), and Leader (In-suk), which isn’t exactly the most innovative group layout.
With each member already taking on specific roles as seen on certain shows like “Truth Game” and “Introducing Star’s Friend“, it seems that these boys are more than ready to take on the now open international music market. It probably helps that their name Shu-I can translate into the Mandarin word “shuai (帥)” which means handsome.
I’m not sure who the brilliant person was who suggested to release their title song on the same day that now causes the ridiculously long security checks at airports, but hopefully unlike certain items which cannot be carried onto planes, their dream of debuting overseas will be carried abroad.
Check out their generic sounding single “Bomb Bomb Bomb” and follow up song~
