Why are we not surprised?!

Big Bang’s G-dragon is not so innovative after all. Sony ATV Music Publishing is pointing a finger of plagarism against G-dragon produced and written music.

And not just one song, but 4! G-dragon’s effort for a solo debut is already being marred-the song “Heartbreaker” and “Butterfly” is similar to Flo Rider’s “Right round” and Oasis’ “She’s Electric.” Big Bang’s single for the Japanese market, “With U” is sampled from R&B singer Joe’s “Ride with U.” Also, 2NE1’s hit “I don’t care,” produced by Mr. Original, has borrowed from 80’s crooner, Lionel Ritchie (father of Nicole Ritchie) song, “Just go.” The September 20th episode of the tv program, MBC ‘Current Affairs Magazine 2580′ reported that Sony sent a letter of warning to YG Entertainment regarding the use of music without their permission and prohibited the use of the songs until further notice.

Meanwhile, YG Entertainment has yet to respond to the accusations.
