2NE1 TV comes to an end

Talk about short notice!

It had been announced that 2NE1 TV will come to an end. The show’s last episode aired on September 9th. That was fast!

Though I’m sad to see the girls go, this does make sense. The group is pretty much done with promotions for their debut mini-album and the girls are all working on solo projects and preparing for their next album release later this year.

I suspect that for the time being we’ll be seeing a lot more Tae-yang TVand GD TV, as both Big Bang members will be busy promoting their respective solo projects in the coming month. It is also likely that T.O.P. TV, Seung-ri TV and Dae-sung TV will also get more air time and help fill the void left behind by 2NE1 TV.

So, what’s next for the girls? Well, as we previously reported, the girls will all head off to work on solo projects and I suspect that we’ll still be seeing the girls, just not together. Not too long ago 2NE1’s maknae Min-jiposted a pic on her me2day with the caption “민지 티비” (Min-ji TV). Could the girls be following in their Big Bang sunbaes’ footsteps and get their own channels? Nothing has been announced or confirmed yet, so only time will tell.

In the meantime, we’ve had some fun with the 2NE1 girls but , alas, all good things must come to an end. Are you sad to see 2NE1 TV go?
