Choi Si Won and Sulli model for Andre Kim

Two of SM Entertainment’s idols have paired up for designer Andre Kim’s fashion show.

For the March 3rd fashion show held at the Kintex ballroom,Super Junior’s Choi Si Won and f(x)’s Sulli were chosen as the show’s main focus.

Andre Kim is known in only choosing the top celebrities as his shows’ main leads and it seems that the designer’s taste has shifted over to our Korean idol singers.

For this fashion show, the pair wore a variety of outfits like formal, evening, traditional, and wedding while showing a range of emotions as they walked down the runway.

This fashion show was part of the ‘2010 Digital Cable TV Show‘ and will be broadcasted on the cable channel, GTV.

TVXQ’s Jaejoong, the most wanted lover in Japan

TVXQ / DBSK / Tohoshinki’s Jaejoong is a very popular man in Japan. He was voted “top prince” by Japanese portal siteBarks and last year he was ranked #3 on CDTV’s Which male artist do you wish to be your lover?. This year Jaejoong has risen from #3 on CDTV’s list to #1. Here’s the full breakdown from sshutingg @ OneTVXQ:

Dong Bang Shin Ki’s Hero Jaejoong, a member of Korea’s famous group, was voted first on the ‘Which male artist do you wish to be your lover?’ in Japan, which is grabbing much attention.

The Japanese TBS music show ‘CDTV’ recently conducted their annual survey for the first half of 2010. Jaejoong was voted first for ‘Which male artist do you wish to be your lover?’ He is also the first ever foreign artist to place first on the list since the inception of this TV program 16 years ago.

Jaejoong first entered this list in 2008 and within 2 years had successfully taken over the first position. This shows that his popularity in Japan is rising rapidly. Regarding this, there are some insiders who boldly predicted that all this represents that the ‘monopoly of Johnny’s’ is possibly coming to an end.

On top of that, other Dong Bang Shin Ki members were on the list and topping Johnny’s members. Micky Yoochun successfully won over Kamenashi Kazuyaof KAT-TUN and took the third position. The other DBSK members on the list include Max Changmin at sixth and Xiah Junsu at seventh.

Poor Yunho didn’t make the list but there’s always next year.

f(x) behind the scenes videos for K-Swiss

Girl group f(x) continue their promotions with apparel company K-Swiss by releasing some behind the scenes videos.

The videos each focus on an individual member of the group. The girls look great and show off some surprising hidden talents like Sullibeing able to catch food in her mouth after tossing it up into the air. The most impressive has to be the shoe catching game between Amber and Victoria. How are they doing that? Amazing!

SM Entertainment stops doing business with Mnet

SM Entertainment has announced that they will stop providing music to Mnet due to the media giant’s breach of contract.

Official statement on SME’s website stated,

“SME has been discussing Mnet Media in regards to the renewal of a contract on music distribution as the contract term was about to end. However, we found out that Mnet Media had breached the contract by providing content created by SME on their websites without our consent over a lengthy period of time. This is a clear breach of contract which happened without any notification or explanation to SME.

SME has been providing content to Mnet Media, but due to such circumstances, we believe that it is difficult to continue business relationship when trust is lost, so we have decided not to renew our contract.”

Mnet.com noted on their website about the matter and said,

“We are trying our best for music distribution to continue through constant discussion.”

As of March 2nd, all SM-related material has been removed from Mnet’s database.

Mnet and SME have not been on good terms lately, and this will no doubt worsen their relationship.

Sungmin questions his position in Super Junior

Super Junior member, Sungmin will be appearing in an upcoming episode of SBS’s Strong Heart (Kang Shim Jang) where he spoked about his frustration and wishes.

On the episode scheduled for broadcast on March 2nd, Sungmin revealed,

“I am the middle of Super Junior.”

What did he mean by that? He explained,

“I feel that in singing, acting, looks, height, etc, everything about me is in the mid-range level (average). Nothing particular stands out about me.”

Sungmin confessed,

“Perhaps because of that (being average), there isn’t much news about me. I really hope that there can be more news written about me.”

Sungmin was probably talking how he was getting overshadowed by the more illustrious members, leading to less opportunities to shine. Other guests sympathized with his situation and offered him ideas to survive in this unforgiving industry, and some of which was so ridiculous that it led to laughters all around the studio.

BEAST’s Junhyung shares a fake kiss with a nun?

MBC High Kick Through the Roof had BEAST’s main rapperJunhyung make a cameo on March 1st’s episode. In the episode, Junhyung filmed a music video with In-na, played by Yu In-na.

In-na was supposed to film a kiss scene with Junhyung after getting her nun outfit, a habit, ripped off, but she got scared because she knew Kwang-su would get jealous. Julian poked Kwang-su in the eye while people were replaying the kiss scene so that he wouldn’t be able to watch her kiss Junhyung.

Because the scene in which In-na’s habit was ripped off as well as the kiss itself weren’t actually broadcast, people were confused and a bit annoyed. The episode just showed In-na’s habit strewn on the floor and said they had a kiss scene.

Netizens commented, “It’s a problem that they didn’t air it but pretended it all happened,” and “Everyone is pretending.” Other viewers are cutting High Kick some slack, saying, “It’s just imaginary,” and “It’s a sitcom. Have fun as you watch it. Don’t blow things out of proportion.”

Wonderfuls plan Sunmi Day, bus advertisements & more

The popular dork Sunmi may have left the Wonder Girlsrecently, but it looks like the pop quintet’s fans don’t have any plans to forget her any time soon. Recently, the Wonder Girls Fan Union got together and came up with a few activities for Sunmi during her hiatus.

1. Bus Advertisements
Instead of newspaper ads, we’ve decided to put up Bus Advertisements on Seoul City Buses. However, the number of buses that we will put the advertisements on will be reflected by the budget that we have.

In the Advertisement, we will have a picture of Sunmi and our message of support for her.

2. Sunmi Day
We have decided to make the 2nd day of every month, “Sunmi Day.” (eg. March 2nd, April 2nd, May 2nd and so on..)

To celebrate each Sunmi day, Korean fansites will create a board on each websites just for Sunmi. For WonderFuls World, we will be creating a post with a chatbox for that day. So that we can remember, talk about her, upload pictures & videos of her etc.

Also, special banners & main pages will be made by fans. Every month, we will be choose the best design of the month & it will be posted on our main pages for the Sunmi day. Currently the design competition for Sunmi Day is not open for foreign fans yet, however we will discuss on how we can get foreign fans to participate in it as well.

3. Post-Its
Every once a while, representatives will be going to JYPE center in Seoul,Korea to post post-its for Sunmi. Each month, there will be a different WonderFul fansite that will be hosting the collection of messages.We will inform you with the link to the site for the collection of messages for that particular month when it has been decided.

Please understand that due to the size constrain of a POST-IT note, please avoid writing long messages/letters as it will be hard to fit it in a Post-It note. We encourage you to write short messages roughly about 20 words or less.

We hope for strong participation and support from foreign fans as well as Korean fans.
