The 30th Blue Dragon Film Awards red carpet proved to be a little troublesome for the attending actresses. They had a choice of showing a little leg or tripping on their dress while climbing the red carpet stairs.

The Blue Dragon Film Awards were held at Seoul’s KBS Hall on December 2, 2009.

Take a look at some of the long, flowly fashion of some of Korea’s leading ladies!

Lee Shi-young (We Got Married, Boys Over Flowers) seems a little cold in this summery, Grecian white dress.

Fashionista Kim Min-hee (Love Marriage) is looking elegant in an princess, strapless black dress.

Thirst” star Kim Ok-bin came in hot pink. Her fuzzy pink muffler looks so warm! Kim Ok-bin was accompanied by “Thirst” co-star Song Kang-ho.

Choi Kang-hee’s (My Love) black dress leaves a little to be desired, but the simple bodice suits the actress well.

Kim Hye-su (Style) shows off her S-line and a bit of skin in a sexy, form-fitting black dress.

Kang Ye-won (Miracle on 1st Street) also went with a summery white dress, looking classicly pretty.

Even in a lingerie-styled dress, Kim Ha-neul (Mr. and Mrs. Kim, On Air) still manages to look classy and refined with matching accessories.

Ha Ji-won (Haeundae) shows off what her mother gave her in this low-cut/high-cut combination.

Sun Woo-sun (Queen of Housewives) mismatches blue heels with a pink chiffon dress. The dress’s cut is nice though.

Speedy Scandal” star Park Bo-young made a bit of a scandal in this yellow flower dress (literally, flowers). She was accompanied by her “Speedy Scandal” co-stars Cha Tae-hyun and Wang Seok-hyeon.

Lee Chae-young (Wife Returns) follows the pink trend in a bejewelled, form-flattering dress.

Yoo Sun (The Sons of Sol Pharmacy House) shows off a flattering neck-line, gaining a lot of praise from netizens.

Son Ye-jin (My Wife Got Married) wore a finely detailed, and visually interesting chiffon black and navy dress.

What do you think of these red carpet fashions? Who nailed it? Who missed?

Rain hits Indonesia for the first time.

Our favorite ESL student held a press conference for his upcoming concert, “Legend of Rainism” at the Ritz-Carlton in Jakarta on Tuesday, December 2nd. Will the 27 year old show off his chocolate abs in a country that has the world’s largest Muslim population? Hmm. This should be interesting….

Rain’s “Legend of Rainism” concert will be held at JITEC on December 3rd.

If you missed the concert, you can check him out in the Wachowski Brothers production “Ninja Assassin” (2009).

But if you were there, let us know how it went!

The movie ‘Actresses’ starring Yoon Yeo-jeong, Lee Mi-sook, Ko Hyeon-jeong, Choi Ji-woo, Kim Min-hee and Kim Ok-bin, had a VIP screening on November 30 at Megabox, COEX Mall, Seoul.

Check out the star-studded event! Brown Eyed Girls, Han Chae-young, So Ji-sub, Song Hye-gyo and more!

FYI: According to the crew, the quarreling scene between Ko Hyeon-jeong and Choi Ji-woo almost felt real. (hmm…reality brought into fiction, perhaps? )

The movie, “Actresses” will be on the silver screen this coming December 10.

After School’s Kahi (also spelled “Ga-hee”) really emphasized her V-line (a sharp chin/jaw line) in these waiting room selca shots, bringing praise and envy from netizens. Her makeup is really pretty!

With the recent release of the “Because of You” music video, maybe Kahi can be After School’s next “stand-out” member.

Selca tip: Take your selca shots when your hair and make-up are at their best! For example, get camera snappy right after a professional fixes you up all nice and pretty, like Kahi!

The saga continues…

Shinji was diagnosed with H1N1 influenza, also known as swine flu. The bubbly singer went to the hospital on November 30th, and was diagnosed on December 1st. Shinji has started treatment (Tamiflu) and hopes to recover quickly. Get well soon!

Flu season is still taking down weary celebrities. Celebs, please take care of your health!

IRIS” star Lee Byung-heon had a visit to the Blue House (Korea’s Presidential residence), on December 1st to meet and great with the President of Hungary. Being famous can really get you places.

While the President of Hungary László Sólyom was visiting, the Blue House extended an invitation to Lee Byung-heon for supper.

Why Lee Byung-heon? The Blue House staff said that because the Hollywood star is “acquainting people with Korea” he was also invited.

Also, last June, KBS 2TV drama “IRIS” was filmed in Budapest, Hungary, where even police officers were used as extras for the show. The Hungary government wanted to give a big thank you to the star and Korea for also raising interest in Hungary.

Who knew a TV show could have such big international implications? Anyway, congratulations to Lee Byung-heon!

Are your eyes deceiving you?

At first glance, Eun Ji-won could be Big Bang’s G-Dragon (right) brother? Can you see the resemblance?

No need to call the animal rights activists!

Idol, actor, chicken spokesmodel…and now it seems Kim Hyun-joong can add wild boar hunter to his lengthy résumé.

The singer has been cast in a new show for MBC’s “Sunday Night” lineup called “The Hunters” and as a part of the program, Hyun-joong will transform from flower boy to wild boar catcher. A preview of the program has recently hit the net and the show looks…um, interesting. Picture stars like KARA’s Goo Ha-ra, Jung Yong-hwa (of C.N. Blue and “You’re Beautiful” fame) and Lee Hwi-jae (“We Got Married“) in bright orange jumpsuits chasing down a wild pig and you’ve pretty much got things figured out.

Not to worry though, the show may be called “The Hunters”, the program’s intention is not to harm any animals. Rather, the show’s cast will search for and capture the wild creatures safely in an attempt to keep them from destroying farmland. Man, they really can turn any concept into a show…but kudos for environmentally conscious television!

Check out “The Hunters”when the show premieres on December 6th.
