No need to call the animal rights activists!

Idol, actor, chicken spokesmodel…and now it seems Kim Hyun-joong can add wild boar hunter to his lengthy résumé.

The singer has been cast in a new show for MBC’s “Sunday Night” lineup called “The Hunters” and as a part of the program, Hyun-joong will transform from flower boy to wild boar catcher. A preview of the program has recently hit the net and the show looks…um, interesting. Picture stars like KARA’s Goo Ha-ra, Jung Yong-hwa (of C.N. Blue and “You’re Beautiful” fame) and Lee Hwi-jae (“We Got Married“) in bright orange jumpsuits chasing down a wild pig and you’ve pretty much got things figured out.

Not to worry though, the show may be called “The Hunters”, the program’s intention is not to harm any animals. Rather, the show’s cast will search for and capture the wild creatures safely in an attempt to keep them from destroying farmland. Man, they really can turn any concept into a show…but kudos for environmentally conscious television!

Check out “The Hunters”when the show premieres on December 6th.

Aww~give this guy a hug. He wants some attention too.

Park Jin-young has been diligently working to promote his JYPE proteges these past two years, but now he’s back and ready to show you that he still got some swagger. His new album “Sad Freedom” released on December 1st, featuring a few melancholic numbers reflecting on his life. With “No Love No More” as his title song, JYP is looking to show you he just doesn’t whip his kids everyday to make them idol starlets. He is a lean, mean slick dancing machine.

Except for the dance choreography which is just slick and clean, everything in the MV is downright indulgent and extravagant. The shooting sequence in the beginning is very interesting, and seems like one of those creative visions he had before that he just wants to see happen. JYP, adorned with a little crystal tear, bathes and lounges among some swanky prostitutes.

If this doesn’t scream “man”, you must not be blinded by his pheromones enough.

Will you find it not for you?

The eclectic sound of Clazziquai Project reemerges with their new remix album, “Mucho Beat“. Featuring three new songs plus remixed goodies from their last album “Mucho Punk“, Clazziquai once again ushers in a fresh breeze of their tried and true electronic house sound when the music scene is congested with catchy idol fluff.

Ping” is a new song off their new release, and the MV compliments the song well. Although it can be a little headache inducing, its worth watching at least once to see a pleasant looking girl get wasted after a long night out.

Check it out~you willing to get high with Clazziquai?

Does it make any sense? No, not really.

After a fairly well received comeback stage, After School finally released the music video for “Because Of You“. Featuring the girls in many very pretty and elegant outfits, the MV really only has merit as a highly produced photo shoot. With the dance sequences against stark white and black backgrounds, it becomes really apparent that there are just way too many of them now.

The images of UEE, Joo-yeon, and Ga-hee having pillow fights and washing each other entice you sure enough and pleases the male fantasy, but the narrative leaves a lot of question marks in the air. Such as~why is Ga-hee suddenly dead? Who is that creepy, unnecessary dude hanging with Ga-hee? Why is UEE always the center of attention? How come I don’t care about their convoluted little quadrangle?

Got to admit though, they’re pretty, but that’s really all that’s there. Check it out~

Well, that was fast!

It seems 4minute members Hyun-ah and Ji-yoon will be embarking on solo projects.

Not to worry, 4minute isn’t going anywhere but the group’s main rapper, Hyun-ah, and the (formerly) shaded wonder, Ji-yoon, have decided to try the solo thing for a bit. Given the success of “For Muzik“, the group’s debut album, it only makes sense that the two would milk their current popularity and steal the spotlight for themselves.

As of yet the girls’ reps haven’t revealed much about the upcoming projects. It has, however, been reported that the girls’ solo projects will highlight their unique charms, something that they weren’t able to do when promoting as part of the group.

The girls’ company, Cube Entertainment, released a statement saying:

“We have not yet decided which of the two will release their solo album first. The two members are currently practicing for their performances to the pop dance songs prepared for them. We will decide the details after work for ["For Muzik"]has ended.”

Hyun-ah and Ji-yoon are definitely the stand out members of the group. I wonder how what they’ll sound like on their own…especially Ji-yoon. Any guesses?

The highly popular KBS drama “IRIS” is looking into a Season 2 for next year. Emulating American dramas, a second season sounds better than dragging out this one.

Filming will began May 2010. With solid over-30% viewer ratings for the first season (ends in three weeks), many drama fans should be quite pleased.

However, the Season 1 hero Lee Byung-heon’s prospect of being in Season 2 doesn’t seem likely, as the star already has plans with Hollywood for filming “G. I. Joe 2.”

The “IRIS” producers have stated that, excluding Lee Byung-heon, they intend to discuss filming Season 2 with the other drama stars, includingKim Tae-hee, Kim Seung-woo, Jung Joon-ho, and Kim So-yeon. (Nothing is really mentioned about T.O.P, but YG had previously turned down the rapper starring in the drama “Zero Plus,” stating that he would be acting in the movie, “Into the Gunfire,” and needed to also return toBig Bang activities.)

Also, the production team has already chosen 4 different international shooting locations: Italy, New Zealand, Japan, and China. So, everything seems all go for “IRIS: Season 2.”

What do you think of an IRIS Season 2? Will it be a success?

Park Myung-soo was rushed to the emergency room. While filming “Infinity Challenge” (MBC), the comedian complained of chest pains.

At the emergency room, Park Myung-soo received a chest X-ray and a full medical examination. If his health condition checks out, he will resume filming of “Infinity Challenge.”

Last July, the comedian had a hepatitis A infection and was admitted to the hospital for treatment. Taking on a heavy schedule, Park Myung-soo became very fatigued. As a result, for some time, his body seemed very weak.

Hopefully, everything will be fine for Park Myung-soo, and he can get back to bringing laughter to his fans. If anything, he needs a good break.

Model-turned-actor Marco (Dream), plans to change his nationality and officially become a Republic of Korea citizen in 2010. This is his second time applying. If at first you don’t succeed…

On November 30th, Marco’s management said in a phone interview, “Marco has applied to change his citizenship.”

Marco gained quite a bit of popularity on MBC’s “We Got Married” for treating Son Dambi poorly and then subsequently trying to make up for it.

The 32-year-old was born and raised in Argentina and first came to Korea in 1999. 3 years ago, Marco tried to change his nationality to Korean, but because of his period of residence he could not meet the criteria in order to become a Korean citizen.

Marco said, “My older brother and younger sister are living in Argentina, but I will live in Korea… It won’t be a problem for me to acquire Korean citizenship in 2010.”

Finally, Marco also said, “I want to be married in Korea. Even now, I could get married right away. I want to marry a person that I fall in love with at first sight.” I wonder if he has someone in mind…

Good luck, Marco!

Not that he would wear any makeup, right? Doesn’t he remind you of a girl who forgot to put on her makeup so she hides under a hat and glasses? Maybe it’s just me.

Big Bang member turned solo act, G-dragon was spotted at the VIP screening for the flick, “Actresses” (2009) on November 30th.

“Actresses”, starring Choi Ji-woo, Kim Min-hee, Kim Ok-bin opens on December 6th, 2009.

The question is why.

Since Yoo Jae-suk exiting the hit variety show, “Family Outing,” another cast member will leave as well.

Only been six months since she had joined the “family,” Park Shi-yeon will step down due to health problems. In recent episodes, she has been MIA. However, her representative hinted that she might return, but what is there to return to when the nation’s MC isn’t there.
