More celebrities get busted for the use of illegal drugs at a club.

It has been announced by the Korean police that singer Park (30) and model Kim (26) have been charged for the use of illegal drugs. Park has been charged for the use of ecstasy in the bathroom of a club in July of 2007 and special K in January of the following year. Kim has been charged for the purchase and consumption of ecstasy, twice in October of 2007 and again for the consumption of ecstasy at a club, just this past September.

It has also been revealed that all drug purchases have led back to actressYun Sul-hee who was recently sentenced to 3 years in prison for distribution of drugs to a number of celebrities, including Joo Ji-hoon. The Korean police has announced that they suspect many more celebrities could be tied into this case and will continue their investigation.

Once news was released, netizens have begun making lists of possible suspects on who singer Park and model Kim could be. Although finding out who 26-year-old model Kim hasn’t been easy, many fingers are pointing toJun Jin (Park Choong-jae) of Shinwha as being 30-year-old singer, Park.

Has everybody forgotten that she started as a singer?

Semi-popular actress Jung Ryu-won made a trip last month to the states for a meeting initiated by an American film studio, sparking rumors that it may be her turn to take a jab at the American market. A representative for Jung Ryu-won has now confirmed that it is ”true that she is planning to enter the U.S. market.”

Since her breakout role as “Hee-jin” in the classic 2005 drama “My Name Is Kim Sam Soon” (which is rumored to be remade into an American drama series itself), it’s been widely known that the actress is practically fluent in English. In fact, her interesting accent comes from her Australian childhood roots. If any actress can make it in America, I’d place my bet on Jung Ryu-won, her English ability and her sultry western-ish flare. Plus, how cute would it be if Daniel Henney (who’s turning some American heads) and Jung Ryu-won both made it in Hollywood?

Too late or too soon?

At the 2009 Open Concert, the sultry Brown Eyed Girls officially ended promotions for their summer smash hit “Abracadabra.” The group reached significant recognition with their 2008 hits “L.O.V.E.” and “How Come?” However, it wasn’t until “Abracadabra” that the girls reached cult-following status (rare for artists not part of the “holy trinity” SM, YG and JYP Entertainment). After establishing themselves as the queens of sexy, watching numerous parodies, and dealing with controversy, the girls end their summer reign without any news of further promotions for other singles. True it’d be tough immediately top “Abracadabra” but we doubt the girls will just disappear. Congrats to the Brown Eyed Girls for a fantastic summer!

She sure likes singing songs about noodles.

Actually, all of the Girls’ Generation members are part of the noodle craze now. In addition to their recent ShinHan Bank deal and just joining an endorsement with Cyon, the girls are at it again as the new faces for Samyang Ramen. Despite saying “goodbye,” these girls are everywhere!

Watch their new music video (pretty much) about them professing their love for Samyang Ramen. I am loving this annoyingly catchy song. It’s like the next “Lollipop!” I must say, they’re all looking much prettier in this than in their highly stylized Cyon commercial.

Little grasshoppers are on the way~

In case you didn’t know, Korea’s most popular MC Yoo Jae-suk and his announcer wife Na Kyung-eun are expecting their first child in April, 2010. The adorable couple tied the knot back in July, 2008 and finally conceived a baby after about one year of marriage. Seeing as how Na Kyung-eun is quite pretty and Yoo Jae-suk is famous for his resemblence of a grasshopper, many are curious as to whom the baby (who’s sex is obivously undetermined at the moment) will resemble.

All we have for now is the hilarious morphed photo of the couple taken way back in 2007 during an episode of MBC Fantasy Couple.

Will their child be this cute?

Holy smokes Batman!

Dong Bang Shin Ki’s battle against SM Entertainment’s contractual agreements have been getting quite serious, from recently dropping out of the 2009 SBS Dream Concert to Yoo-na of Girls Generation appearing as a witness in court!

Jae-joong, Jun-su, and Yoo-chun of DBSK, Yoona of Girls Generation, and Mr. SM Entertainment Lee Soo-man have been selected as witnesses by the Grand National Party regarding the famously “unjust” contracts issued by SM Entertainment. The parliamentary inspection will likely take place on October 5th. However, it’s not likely that witnesses appear for the parliamentary inspection. Their main places are at the juicy trial.

In case you’re wondering why Yoo-na was selected of all people, it’s because she’s the prettiest she also has an “unjust” 13 year contractual agreement.

Gee whiz, what a truly hot issue. What do you predict will happen?

People just can’t get enough of “Winter Sonata”.

On September 28th, Bae Yong-joon and Choi Ji-woo met up for the first time in seven years for a press conference in Japan to endorse “Winter Sonata” the animated series.

Bae Yong0joon and Choi Ji-woo reprises their roles as the two high school sweethearts separated by circumstance, Kang Joon-sang and Jung Yu-jin respectively. Despite the fact that this is a Japanese anime production, the two actors speak in their native Korean, keeping to the original flavor of the drama series.

I wasn’t a big fan of the drama itself with the overly sappy acting, but looking at the previews, the anime looks semi-promising. The animation is beautifully done with the direction paying a lot of attention to aesthetics.

“Winter Sonata” the animated series will begin broadcasting on October 17th in Japan.

Who do you think looks especially “delicious” in this photo?

Looks like the girls are back with their new image, cute yet sexy with their new endorsement of LG Cyon’s “Chocolate”.

Although Girls Generation can certainly pull off the look, they definitely wouldn’t have been my first choice to endorse a phone that’s marketed as being sleek, sexy, and mature. Their usual pure, yet flirtatious personas don’t go with this image campaign, but how can you not use Girls Generation to sell an product? Their faces signal dollar signs.

I must admit, though, I’m still loving the short haircuts some of the girls are wearing. Even though many people didn’t like the short cuts during their “Genie” days, long locks are so played out.

Here’s their little blurb on why they like the new “Chocolate” mobile phone.

And we promise it’s not another video game where your favorite entertainer is now a character.

Star Empire Entertainment, the company that brought you Jewelry andV.O.S., is now set to release a nine member boy group called Child of Empire.

Other than sounding like a cheesy video game, these boys have already garnered much attention with their Mnet reality show “Office Reality“, which showed the boys (and some girls who’s fates have yet to be decided) training and preparing for this debut.

The boys have already launched their first guerilla concert series, which began on September 28th. Their first official debut was done off American cover songs such as Timbaland’s “The Way I Are“.

Although if the fancam says anything (which it doesn’t, literally it’s absolutely quiet) the boys have yet to gain as many fans as the company hoped through its reality show and the pre-debut of its “Ulzzang” membersMoon Joon-yeong and Park Hyeong-sik, who appeared on Mnet’s “Flower Boys Terror” and as the boyfriend in Jewlery S’s music video “Date” respectively.

So if you’re in Korea, keep an eye out for the trucks that will be carrying these boys around to promote their concert because a free concert is better than no concert. Even if you’re not really feeling them, at least V.O.S will make a guest appearance.

Check out their performance below.

How do you like her now?

Amber released these behind the scene pictures on her me2day account of F(x)’s photoshoot on September 30, 2009. Looks like the girl is trying to show her sultry side after the attention she received with her “controversial photo” of her in a male hanbok.

Considering the trendy thing for Korea is to be androgynous, I don’t understand why people accept guys looking “pretty” but girls can’t look “handsome”.

What do you think, can a girl pull off the boyish look or should girls stick with the “sexy/cute” image?

Here’s one more of Krystal and Amber getting ready.
