POPSEOUL! recently gave you the first set of official photos from the set of the upcoming “comic” book romance drama.The production team has unveiled a couple additional photos to go with the others.The glimpses of actress So-min and actor/singer Hyun-joong in a classroom setting gives future viewers a chance to see one of the many background settings of“It Started With A Kiss”.This show has a ”Princess Hours” feel to it.Of course,that is minus the families of royal blood.Although,Hyun-joong can be considered music royalty.Do you think music counts?

Has it really been five years since the popular female recording artist BoAhas made her presence known in the K-pop world. Fans of this musical icon probably think it’s a “Miracle” she has returned from the “Next World” of the USA.

They should know,however,that BoA will never forget her loving fans at home! She released her first music video teaser for the title track off her“Hurricane Venus” album on MBC’s Music Core,July 31st. What a way to end one month and begin another! You can look forward to seeing the complete MV in early August.

Lee Joon faints during Invincible Youth?

There’s some good news and bad news for MBLAQ fans out there. The good news is that the boys will appear in next week’s episode of Invincible Youth. The bad news is that Lee Joon fainted during filming.

In the preview, they give a sneak peek of a major event that happens. Lee Joon faints while working and is carried out by Kim Tae Woo.

The reason for him passing out will be revealed in the episode. If it was anything serious, it would’ve made headlines way before now so fans shouldn’t worry too much.

Pre-debut picture of miss A’s Suzy revealed!

We’ve seen several pre-debut pictures and clips of missA with the exception of maknae Suzy. However, a picture of Suzy during her trainee days was posted up on an internet bulletin board and has been receiving much interest from netizens!

In this picture, Suzy looks quite different than now. With permed, curly hair and the cute orange tank, she almost looks as if she belongs with Orange Caramel!

Netizens commented, “Although the feel is different, she’s still the same pretty girl,” and “I thought her current hairstyle matched her but permed hair also gives her some charm.”

Jokwon’s long lost sister?

2AM’s Jokwon has recently revealed a photo of himself and miss A’s Minvia Twitter. The photo is receiving much attention for the stunning resemblances the two have!

The two are sporting similar smiles that might have some people say, “When did Jokwon have a sister?!”

Jokwon and Min do actually share something that none other share. The two have been under JYP for more than 6 years. They’ve climbed every mountain, faced every obstacle=, and have been through thick and thin. But in the end, they have received continuous love and fame from fans. No wonder they have such a tight friendship. Netizens must have felt the bond as they commented, “They really look like family,” “Both of them have such cute smiles,” and “Their smiles can make everyone happy.”

Boa’s next dance concept: comical?

Boa, who is preparing for her comeback has uploaded pictures of herself and another dancer practicing via Twitter on the 30th. The dancer is none other than Rino Nakasone of Beat Freaks (America’s Best Dance Crew Season 3).

Boa captioned, “Working hard for the first performance.” The pictures are humorous as the two are clowning around and enjoying themselves.

But at the same time, they give off an atmosphere of the passion and hard work Boa is putting in for her comeback stage in Korea in nearly 5 years. The photos are making the wait for the fans even harder. But for Boa, I can wait a few days more. Stay tuned!

SHINee’s “Lucifer” is number one!

SHINee‘s second week promotion for their newest single “Lucifer” was worth it! The five boys from SME musical royalty made history with their first win for “Lucifer” on Music Bank’s K-chart,on July 30th.Congratulations to the extremely talented boy band and we hope to see our favorite “shiny” rapper Min-ho dancing with them soon.

Rookie group 20star to debut in August

As if 13 members in a band weren’t enough, it seems like we now have a new band with approximately 17 members!

Under TGN Entertainment, a new boy band will emerge with the name 20star. With 17 or so members (the numbers have been wavering from source to source), we know that this will be the biggest idol group in Korean pop to date! The members include A-Run, who has been dubbed the leader of this band, as well as Xeno, Ricky, Dongkyu, Daeyoung, Luie, Dowon, Jaeyoon, Seungtae, Hongmin (Min), Ryan, Shinsong, Shiho, Sangmin, and Hwan. The year of birth for the listed members range from 1989 to 1994, with A-Run being the oldest and Xeno the youngest.

Although only 15 members have been named, there are supposedly more members that will be added to this band. In addition, it has been reported that a member by the name of Noh Taepoong has already withdrawn from the group.

Though there is not yet much known about this rookie group, it has been rumored that they will debut sometime in August.

SS501 to turn into SS301?

Following confirmation about Kim Hyun Joong leaving DSP Entertainment for Keyeast, more information regarding SS501’s future have been revealed today.

It’s been revealed that fellow SS501 member Park Jung Min will also leave DSP Entertainment, possibly SS501 as well, to pursue his acting career with another management agency.

It is now looking like SS501 will now turn into SS301, a group consisting of Kim Hyung Joon, Kim Kyu Jong and Heo Young Saeng that promoted during 2008 with U R Man.

It’s known that while Park Jung Min is showing interest in pursuing his acting career, the rest of the three members are prefering to stay as a group rather than having solo careers although they are also looking for a new agency.

This will mean that all of the members of SS501 are no longer with DSP Entertainment, an agency they debuted through.

SS301’s Kim Hyung Joon, Kim Kyu Joong and Heo Young Saeng are now being looked upon by many agencies in the FA (free agent) market as they have left DSPE. The three have already received offers from different agencies, but the members are looking for a trustworthy agency.

A representative stated, “The contract itself is important, but the members are looking for an agency they can trust, an agency that is attractive.”

If the SS501 members indeed all go to separate agencies, it’s looking like it’ll take a while until we see SS501 promote again.

Albeit all the reports, the members are reportedly not in any arguments with each other, and they want to keep SS501 alive. Especially with the amount of success SS501 has in Korea as well as overseas, so there’s still a possibility that SS501 will not disband.

Furthermore, the “1+1+3″ separation of SS501 have started to resemble legendary group H.O.T which disbanded in 2001 with members Moon Hee Joon and Kangta pursuing solo careers while Jang Woo Hyuk, Tony Ahn and Lee Jae Won formed a three-member group jtL.
