Girls Generation do Nintendo DSi

If only 5 members count.

Despite being busy promoting their new single, “Run Devil Run”, the ever so hot, Girls Generation (SNSD) has landed a sweet deal with Nintendo. The 9 girls were plucked by one of the biggest gaming companies in the world, to represent Nintendo in Korea, because of their new Nintendo DSi color, Crimson/ Black.

In the CF, Yoona, Sooyoung, Seohyun, Taeyeon, and Yuri are playing with the new DSi and its eleven new, different functions. Although the CF has already hit the small screen in Korea, the new Nintendo DSis won’t be available until April 18th.

Rumor has it that the entertainment company, JYPE is tied up in another lawsuit

JYPE is losing money because the wonder behind the Wonder Girls has breached contract by pulling out of a drama. This little act has cost them hundred millions of won. Now, scrambling to fill up their coffers. JYPE has brought the Wonder Girls back to Korea. The entertainment company is scrounging for CFs and anything else to bring in more money for the lawsuit. So you will definitely be seeing more of 2AM, 2PM and of course, the jewel in the crown, the Wonder Girls. The girls are also gearing up for a comeback sometime in May.

Will JYPE be able to recover from another lawsuit?

Incidentally, actor Bae Yong-j00n, is also involved in the legal mess.

Kim Tae Woo and Narsha from Brown Eyed Girls released their new phone CF for Anycall Live.

It’s a cute song and the video is fun!

Samsung Anycall made a good choice in picking these two for their CF.

They have great chemistry and you can see it in the video!

Actress Han Ji-Hye was first seen wearing a gown by Diane von Furstenberg to the 14th Pusan Film Festival that was held on October 8, 2009.

[POPPING News] Choi Jin Shil’s brother commited suicide

Rest In Peace Choi Jin-young. God Bless..

We thought this “trend” would stop…

Choi Jin-young was found dead at his home on March 29th. It’s been confirmed that the 39 years old actor had hanged himself on his rooftop using electric cables. Back in 2008, his sister, Choi Jin-shil had also committed suicide due to rumours alleging that she had contributed to Ahn Jae-hwan suicide. The news shook the nation and unfortunately started a deathly trend, celebrity suicide.

After the departure of his sister, he and his mother had been taking care of Jin-shil’s two children. The custody did not fall into their hands easily, as Choi Jin-shil rancourous ex-husband, former baseball player (Jo Sung-min) suddenly wanted the children’s custody. It’s been known that this douchebag was never present in the kids lives until her death.

Conspicuous motive which everyone saw through, eyeing the hefty inheritance Jin-shil left for the little ones. He just needed to dip his greedy, grubby, abusing hands in the kids future. Sung-min had also been physically abusing her during their marriage. Such despicable behaviour from a former national baseball player.

We are shocked that Jin-young would end his life abruptly especially, after what he said on ‘Park Joong Hoon Show’ in 2008.

The MC said “I love her as a dongsaeng and colleague but on the other hand i resent her for leaving cruelly. How about you? Do you resent her for leaving like that?”

Teary eyed Jin-young replied ” Why wouldn’t I feel that? I feel that she left so suddenly and the reality she left behind is difficult.She left behind so many questions i have to answer.And for that i resent her and sometimes hate her.”

His management said, “We recieved the unfortunate news from his family. We heard he passed on however, we weren’t told the details.We are all mourning for his lost.”

It was reported that Choi Jin-young had also been battling depression and it worsen after his sister’s death. We cannot imagine what Mrs Choi had to go through, when she discovered his son’s lifeless body the same way she had with her late daughter.

His funeral procession will take place on the 31st of March. And his ashes will be laid to rest besides his sister’s grave.

Cupid shot the lurve arrow and set the lurve ball rolling when the couple met in 2002. However, the love potion started taking action only in 2007. After being in relationship for three years, the soulmates finally stroll down the aisle in a classic sunset wedding. Seeing that we, are part of the media, we don’t get to see the wedding as they really emphasise the ‘private‘ portion of the term private wedding. Friends and family only. We are glad the girls aren’t having any serious complexes but goddessGyu-ri, sure is hilarious. While Seungyeon holy revelation has something to do with her expressions, the self-confidence leader said “I don’t have any insecurities. I save my confidence therefore, I don’t have complexes”

Pressing hard for an answer, the MC tried paraphrasing, “But what if you had to choose one. What would it be?”

Witty diva replied nonchalantly, “I’m curious to know too.”

What we give if more girls were to be more self assured… The vain industry crippled the rationale of young stars so, it’s nice to hear someone saying otherwise.

[Rumor] Song Hye-gyo and Hyun Bin Broke Up?

Say what? Did Korea’s hot hot hot entertainment couple, Hyun Bin andSong Hye-gyo, call it quits?

After filming the drama “Worlds Within” together, it was confirmed in August 2009 that the good-looking couple started dating in June of that year.

Fans of the hot drama commodity Hyun Bin squealed in glee at rumors of their separation, but the couple is refuting the claim. Management from both sides are saying that separation rumors are just rumors.

Entertainment reporters stated, “We know that because Song Hye-gyo and Hyun Bin both have tight schedules this year, they mutually wish to remain as good colleagues.”

Hyun Bin’s management refuted the claim, “We don’t know why such a story came up,” and then “We know that the two do not have any problems that would cause a separation. They have a strong relationship.”

Song Hye-gyo’s management also denied separation rumors, “This is by no means true. The two have a strong relationship.”

As for their schedules, Hyun Bin, from January to early March of this year, was filming for the upcoming Korea-America joint film “Manchu” (만추, 晚秋) in Seattle. Additionally, due to schedules, Hyun Bin is still out of the country.

Song Hye-gyo was also a busy girl in January, filming for the omnibus film, “Camellia,” in a segment called, “Love for Sale” alongside Kang Dong-won. Currently, Song Hye-go is in China, filming for the Wong Kar-wai-directed film, “The Grand Master” (일대종사, 一代宗師), starring Tony Leung.

Celebrity separation rumors are quite trendy these days. “High Kick Through the Roof” actress Hwang Jung-eum and S.G Wannabe’s Kim Yong-jun were also rumored to be separated and pretending to hold on to their relationship. Moreover, the 2007 drama “Air City” couple of Choi Ji-woo and Lee Jin-wook also are plagued with rumors of separation, as Lee Jin-wook is serving his military duty and Choi Ji-woo is busy with overseas schedules.

All three of these couples are denying rumors. Still, fans are question how couples, especially between celebrities, can last if they can’t see each other face-to-face. It’s a valid point.

The new song is quite a surprise considering his past songs are usually more upbeat, with dynamic stage performances. But Rain said himself that this was a special album and it would be different from his past songs.

NRG’s Lee Sung-jin Arrested

Lee Sung-jin of NRG was arrested on March 24th for not paying back a 20 million won (about $20,000) loan from a (another) Mr. Lee.

The alleged crime was reported to the police, and Lee Sung-jin is currently being held at the Youngdeungpo Police Station for questioning.

Everyone is wondering why the former idol star borrowed the money and why on earth didn’t he pay it back? Time will tell.

Daniel Henney at a press conference to promote his new reality show

Actor Daniel Henney is looking *good* at a press conference held on March 22nd announcing the production of his new TV reality show called “Daniel Henney goes to Outback.“

Daniel Henney is starring in an adventure variety program that takes him to Australia where he divulges into the food and culture. He mentions he had to sample kangaroo meat, which supposedly has a strong texture and tastes like pepperoni.

Not only was the local cuisine a challenge, but he also had to survive the wilds of the outback.

This is the first reality show for Daniel and he said it was fun and difficult at the same time. The reality show was filmed back in February for 15 days and will debut on the Olive cable station on April 2nd at 10:00pm.
