Moon Geun-young came on Kim Jung-eun’s “Chocolate” to perform a song from her company charity album titled “Love Tree Project“.

During the interview, she revealed that she wants to be sexy. Why? So that she can get a boyfriend. The cutie pie said she never went on a blind date when she was in college. Who wouldn’t want to date such a pretty girl? We suppose her being an A-lister could be intimidating to some boys.

“Perhaps, because of my carefree personality, guys don’t see me as girlfriend material,” garnering much disagreement from the audience and Kim Jung-eun.

She also confessed that being called “Nation’s little sister” was a burden in the past. As she has grown, however,”it feels nice to hear it.“

She ended the interview saying that the reason for making the charity album is to help the underprivileged. ”Even if you don’t like the songs, think about what the cause is for and download it.” That reason is a good one if I ever heard one.

Moon Geun-young has such a big heart. She’s been donating more than 850 million won for the past six years. And guys, don’t be afraid to ask her out! We are pretty sure a lovely girl like her would make a wonderful girlfriend.

The power of nine is here to save the world! Just kidding, the girls had their first live performance on January 30th on MBC Music Core. As usual, they gave a good performance, but a little technical glitch towards the end of the “Oh!” performance sparked an internet frenzy. A netizen commented, “Even the TV is in shock for SNSD comeback!”

The screen went black due to a transmission failure. If you really want to indulge in the fantasy, I suppose the TV fainted out of excitement for these long-legged vixens. The ladies also performed another song off their album titled “Show Show Show“.

If Sunmi were to return to the Wonder Girls, then the popular girl group would be 6 instead of 5 with the addition of new member Hae Lim.

JYP Entertainment released a statement that a 6 member Wonder Girls including Sunmi could be a possibility, as they don’t see a problem with additional members.

JYP Entertainment said:

“We did not expect Sunmi to withdraw from the group and all of our commitments stated that the Wonder Girls are a 5 member group. Furthermore, the parties that we had commitments with all showed disapproval to a 4 member Wonder Girls. We had discussions with the 4 members, who all agreed to Hae Lim joining, which is why the decision was made.”

“Although there is an issue with the Wonder Girls becoming a 4 member group after Sunmi’s decision to leave, later on, if Sunmi wishes to return as a member of the Wonder Girls, there are no issues with the group gaining an additional member. If Sunmi wishes to return later on, we will respect her decision as well as the other members’ decisions and follow.”

How do you feel about 6 members in the Wonder Girls? I say, the more the merrier!

Hyori has been MIA in the kpop scene for well over a year, but she is expected to make a strong comeback in late February or early March!

Although her 4th album was slightly delayed, it was due to guarantee perfection.

Hyori worked with various famous composers as well as a few rookies. Lee Hyori’s representative have said that her new song is going to be a huge hit, even more so than “U Go Girl” from her previous album.

Not only has Hyori perfected her 4th album, she even took a trip to New York City for new fashion inspiration. She will have a fresh new style for our ears and eyes to enjoy!

With all the work she’s put into her comeback, I have great expectations. All the other idol girl groups don’t stand a chance!

On Lunar New Year, February 14th, MBC will be airing a special program “Star Dance Contest” (스타 댄스 대격돌-춤봤다) featuring some of your favorite idol groups.

The special dance battle program will feature Girls Generation (SNSD), who recently released their second album and music video for the single “Oh!” Also, now promoting “Like the First Time,” T-ara will be present withAfter School, hot off a “Because of You” wave. Fresh rookies Rainbowwill also take part.

Don’t worry, you’re favorite male pop acts will be there too! Dance groupsSuper Junior, 2PM, and BEAST all are set to participate in this year’s battle.

Look forward to seeing some of you favorite groups battle it out on the stage while also having fun and playing games. The MCs for the program will be announcer Oh Sang-jin, comedians Shin Bong-sun and Kim Shin-young, and actress/CF queen Hwang Jung-eum.

In H1N1’s second wave, “High Kick Through the Roof” star Yoon Shi-yoon , and T-ara member So-yeon, were both confirmed to have H1N1 influenza, also known as swine flu.

In fears of a swine flu outbreak, “High Kick Through the Roof” paused filming. Yoon Shi-yoon will be taking a rest for a speedy recovery.

Yesterday, So-yeon was filming for a cameo spot on “God of Study,” but after feeling sick, was diagnosed with H1N1 this morning. T-ara’s schedule will be readjusted so that So-yeon can have time to rest.

Young up-and-comer Moon Chae-won (Shining Inheritance, Take Care of Agasshi) is the new model for Hilfiger Denim in Korea.

With the tagline: “Jeans fit for an actress,” Hilfiger Denim chose Moon Chae-won, who had a fairly successful 2009 and will have more drama and movie roles for 2010. We’re all looking forward to see this talented actress in movies.

The lovely “High Kick Through the Roof” Star is raking in the dough!

Despite her recent diagnosis of the Swine Flu, Hwang Jung Eum doesn’t plan on slowing down.

A company representative said, “With the fame that High Kick through the Roof is bringing her, lovecalls for CF’s are pouring in. Just from CF’s, she made around 2,300,000,000 WON in 3 months.”

FYI, 2,300,000,000 WON = approximately $2 million in USD!

Hwang Jung Eum became well known in 2009 when she returned on the show “We Got Married,” and her popularity has gotten bigger with “High Kick Through the Roof.” She has been in various CF’s, and we can only expect to see her in more.

I must say, her character on the show is a bit ditsy and far from glamorous. But this girl knows how to take a picture!

The two idol stars will be going head-to-head, as actors.

2PM’s Taecyeon and Dong-bang-shin-ki (TVXQ)’s Max Changmin both received acting roles in two different upcoming dramas.

Taecyeon will have his acting debut in KBS’s “Cinderalla’s Sister“(신데렐라 언니) a new twist on an old fairytale. In this rendition, “Cinderella,” played by Seo Woo (Tamna the Island) is looking to get revenge against her not-so-evil stepsister, played by Moon Geun-young (The Painter of the Wind). Moon Geun-young’s main love interest will be played by recently discharged from the military, Chun Jung-myung (What’s Up Fox). So, where does that leave Taecyeon? The 2PM rapper will be the second guy who loves Moon Geun-young, but his part is far from being the main character, which is probably good for the drama and Taecyeon, in the end. “Cinderella’s Sister” will begin broadcasting in March of this year.

Max Changmin has his own acting debut as the main character in KBS’s “Paradise Meadow” (파라다이스 목장), a romantic melodrama set in a rural pasture. Max Changmin is placed opposite of Lee Yeon-hee (East of Eden) Filming for “Paradise Meadow” started in September of last year, but the air date was pushed back since the original announcement. “Paradise Meadow” will also begin broadcasting in March of this year. After fellow group members U-Know Yunho and Hero Jaejoong, Max Changmin is the third to receive an acting role. Let’s hope “Paradise Meadow” has a better turn-out than the prematurely ended “Heading to the Ground.”
